I mostly use ixigo for checking trains and flights and it has been easy to use so far. The app feels simple not confusing like a few other travel apps. Search works fast and ticket details are easy to find. Sometimes prices take a little while to refresh so I am giving 4 stars. Overall it is a good app for regular travel bookings.

"The offers look tempting at first..."
The offers look tempting at first, but the cashback never seems to show up on time. After a while, it starts to feel like there's always some excuse or delay, which makes me wonder if these deals are as genuine as they claim.

"Seat availability was completely misleading"
Ixigo was showing seats available, so I planned my booking and went ahead with the payment. But right after trying to pay, it suddenly said there were no seats left?! This happened twice and just wasted my time.
If the seats aren’t actually available, why show them like they’re confirmed? It was really annoying, and now I don’t feel like I can trust the availability shown on Ixigo

I used ixigo a couple of times to check my train waitlist chances, i was a bit confused at first about how accurate it could really be. But both times, the prediction was almost right. It actually helped me figure out whether I should go ahead and book or not. Simple app, useful overall

"Chat support was quicker than I expected"
I had a small issue with my booking and used the chat support to sort it out. compared to other places where you end up waiting forever, this was smooth. They fixed it within a few minutes and made the whole thing way less stressful.

I made the payment and then everything just got stuck. The booking never went through, which was really frustrating. I mean, what’s the point of paying if the booking doesn’t even get confirmed?

"Okay for train bookings, but not always dependable"
In the end, I’d say it’s decent, but I wouldn’t fully rely on it every time. I’ve booked trains a few times through it and most of the time it worked fine. But once, my ticket status updated really late, which left me confused about what was going on. I also reached out to support and they took a while to respond. Not a terrible experience, just a bit inconsistent.

The site loaded really fast for me, and the whole booking process felt smooth from start to finish. that’s how it should be, if a company is going to ask for your time and money, the least they can do is make the process simple and not waste your time...

Booking itself was easy, but after that I needed some help and the support team took a while to get back to me. When they did reply, it wasn’t really all that helpful, so I was left sort of figuring things out on my own.

I had to change my train booking at the last minute, and ixigo made it simple. The options were clear, and it didn’t take too long to get it done. The only thing I’d say is that the refund info could’ve been a bit clearer, but overall, it was a good experience.

"Coupon looked valid but mysteriously failed"
The coupon showed up like it was valid, but then it wouldn’t work when I actually tried to check out. Annoying, especially when the site makes everything sound so smooth and official until it’s time to actually apply the discount.

"Trip alerts made my train journey easier"
I used ixigo for a recent train trip, the alerts were super helpful. Who wants to keep opening the app again and again just to check every small update?

I got notifications for my booking, platform details, and delay status right when I needed them. My train timing changed a bit too, so having those updates pop up on time definitely saved me some stress at the station.
The notifications were clear, simple, and easy to understand. What more do you really need from a travel app? It did exactly what I needed, so it’s 5 stars from me.

"Can’t get through to anyone"
I’ve tried calling ixigo customer care so many times, but it just keeps sending me around in circles. The options are not clear at all, and there doesn’t seem to be a proper way to talk to an actual person. My booking issue is still unresolved, and the app support hasn’t been much help either. It’s really annoying, especially when the communication is so unclear and you need urgent help.

I mostly use Ixigo to check trains and flights, and the search results are usually on point. The timings, prices, and available options mostly show up correctly, which makes comparing stuff a lot quicker. Sometimes the fare changes a bit when I open the booking page, but it doesn’t happen too often. Overall, it’s useful and saves me time. Giving 4 stars because those small mismatches still pop up now and then!

"Worked okay, but confirmation took a bit"
I was able to book my ticket without any real issue, but the confirmation didn’t come through as quickly as I expected. Maybe it was just a delay on their end, but I wasn’t totally sure for a little while if everything had gone through.

I’ve used ixigo a few times now for both train and flight bookings, the payment part has been hassle-free for me. The money usually goes through without any issue, and I get the booking confirmation fairly quickly, which is what most of us mainly care about when booking tickets.
There was one time when the amount got deducted but the ticket didn’t show up right away, so I did get a little anxious for a few minutes. It updated after some time, though. I think other customers might feel the same way—payments seem reliable overall, but quicker status updates would make the experience feel a lot more reassuring.

"I don’t understand the point of ixigo money..."
I don’t understand the point of ixigo money if I can’t even use it when I need to. The amount is sitting there in the wallet, but whenever I try to use it, it just doesn’t work. It feels like I’m the one losing out after trusting the app
